Man Makes Own Wolverine Claws; Savagely Murders Cardboard Box

Friedrich Nietzsche would be proud of this guy. He expresses both the Will To Power, and the Übermensch. And he’s totally serious about his love of Wolverine’s claws.

In a move that only surprises people by how long it’s taken to arrive, an man known on YouTube as aekirby6 has created his own set of Wolverine claws. These things look completely amazing, totally lethal, and impressively engineered. A little bit of research reveals that he’s behind fingerrails.com, a website that sells miniature rails for your miniature, finger-driven skateboard. I don’t know what kind of mental leap you need to make to go from toy decks to forearm-mounted killing blades, but whatever it was, I salute it.

Now, clearly these things are strong enough to do some damage, but in the video we only see the guy tearing into a cardboard box. What, a watermelon — the go-to object of destruction — wasn’t available? Let’s see some Rocky-style mutilation of slabs of beef! Then again, it’s probably not wise to criticize the guy wielding six foot-long knives on his arms.

It’s not known at this time whether he plans to make more of these, or even how he did it. And they’re for sure illegal for sale anyway, at least in this country. I’m feeling like this guy needs to consider a career working in movies as a prop maker, or even in the secondary industry of fanboy knockoffs. Because in the kingdom of the blind, the one-eyed man is king… and now we know why he only has one eye.
