Bacon Vodka is the kind of wonderful concoction you try once at a dive bar and move on with your life. But these guys made a – wait for it – actual, marketable, drinkable vodka that tastes like Bacon.
If you’ve ever been lucky enough to go to the Double Down Saloon in New York City you’ve had a Bacontini – a concoction so good yet so bad it makes heroin seem like a better idea. The Bacontini is the classic end of the night cocktail that you drink on a dare and wake up the next day with the taste of bacon and vodka; an experience I wouldn’t wish on anyone anymore. Dear God. That was one hell of a night.
But there is hope for the Baconniseurs out there.
Black Rock Spirits, a Seattle company, have made a bacon infused vodka entitled “Bakon” – a self described “meat and potatoes” tasting vodka (hint: the potatoes are Idaho Russet), that is available for purchase via their website. Check it out… this might actually be amazing. Bacon plus anything equals delicious and I wouldn’t doubt that this is as good as their marketing it to be.
Check them out at Bakon Vodka.

i dunno. after those harry potter jelly beans, i'm a little wary of food or drink that is manufactured to taste completely different.
