In response to KFC’s Free Grilled Chicken Monday, El Pollo Loco will be giving out 2 pieces of free chicken today only. The Costa Mesa, CA based chicken eatery has 417 locations around the United States and is looking to take on KFC in the battle for grilled chicken.
El Pollo Loco will be giving out a leg, thigh, chips and salsa. Much more than the free single piece of chicken KFC gave out yesterday. “The Crazy Chicken” which is what El Pollo Loco means in Spanish has been on a mission to reveal the real side of KFC, claiming there new grilled chicken isn’t in fact really grilled. They even released commercials proposing a taste test between themselves and KFC.
