Have you noticed that KFC rarely uses the words “Kentucky Fried Chicken,” on any of its store signs or in any commercials? Well, maybe they’re finally getting the message that Americans are becoming more health-conscious (sort of) and have introduced grilled chicken at their store locations. Or maybe its because they don’t want to pay licensing fees to the state of Kentucky?
And on April 27, KFC is giving away one piece of grilled chicken for free per person at participating locations nationwide! No need to clip or print coupons, and all you need to do is walk into a location and mention this promotion. Yes, folks, I know that you’re aching for that delicious, grilled piece of chicken with those special, secretive recipe of spices.
Their new marketing campaign asks you to “Unthink” what you’ve thought about KFC from the past, and accept that they’re all about grilling their chicken now. So when you visit a KFC store location, you can feel good about ordering a piece of grilled chicken which clocks in at 180 calories and 4 grams of fat versus 370 calories for a piece of KFC Original recipe fried chicken and 20 grams of fat. Just don’t order the 8 piece fried chicken bucket afterwards because that sort of negates the point.
I wonder if Colonel Sanders would be shaking his head right now thinking, “What have you done to my Original recipe?!!”

I used to love KFC as a kid, but haven't eaten there in years cause the food just isn't good for you. might have to make an exception for this

You're wrong. Kentucky Fried Chicken switched to KFC years ago, but recently has gone back to Kentucky Fried Chicken in some places. A simple visit to their website: kfc dot com will tell you that. Fact check it, Kathrien.

The chicken was NOT grilled. More like steamed and baked. It was moist but VERY bland taste. El Pollo Local skinless is much better. Free offer Tuesday.

What just one peice of chicken NO MEAL ooooo WHOPPIE.. I never got my coupon for the free meal they had 6 months ago and now Just 1 peice of chicken good god give me a break KFC you have SUNK to the all time LOW NO THANK YOU ill go to MCDonalds instead
