The Madden 10 cover has finally arrived and even though big John officially retired last week, Madden lives on. It’s been 20 years since EA Sports released Madden for Apple II computers (back then it was called John Madden Football) and this is the first time two players have ever graced the front cover.
Arizona Cardinals, Larry Fitzgerald and the pro-bowl defensive end Troy Polamalu of the Pittsburgh Steelers got the unlucky jinx of being on the cover this year. As many of you may know, those that grace the cover of the infamous Madden game are subject a season of injuries and missed super bowl opportunities. We will find out soon enough once the season starts if this jinx holds true.
I’m just glad a Steeler is on there. I don’t think I can stand to see them win another Super Bowl. I can’t wait until this game comes out though. One of my New Year’s Resolutions this year was to get better at Madden. Trust me it’s a lot easier than it sounds.

This Yosef guy's just another hater. The Steelers will win # 7 next year. And seriously, how can anyone wish ill-will towards Troy Polamalu? This guy Yosef's gotta be a Seahawks fan or something. Someone call the Waahmbulance...

Troy Polamalu is a strong safety, not defensive end. Not even close.
