Bill Murray – star of countless films including What About Bob and Lost In Translation – nailed a woman while playing golf over the weekend.
Sadly the innuendo in the above sentence merely states that he hit a woman with a golf ball on accident, causing her to have several stitches over the weekend. Gayle DiMaggio lives just off of the golf course and watching Bill tee off when before she knew it she was down on the ground after being stuck by the wayward white ball. Mr Murray apparently rushed over and laid on the ground next to her talking her though it, and when he found out she was ok he started joking around with her, asking how many fingers he was holding up, and laughing with her.
Ms DiMaggio doesn’t want much compensation beyond a signed copy of Murray’s 1980 comedy “Caddyshack“.
The following day Murray was due to play the same hole again and stopped by Gayle’s house – just off the course – to see how she was doing.
Before the shot, he was heard to joke to the spectators “This one’s for a little girl in the hospital”.
