We know you guys are visual creatures. Though you might like a woman’s intelligence, personality, and character, I’m pretty sure that you like it when she rocks a tight dress for you and shows off her cleavage. There is a reason why most men I know have copies of MAXIM or FHM lying around their apartments.
But for women, it’s a whole different beast and while physical attraction is important, the way a guy makes her feel is exponentially more so. The best guys that I’ve ever dated were always wicked funny, witty, and had this biting sense of humor. Let’s be real, humor shows that you’re intelligent, can carry a conversation and don’t take yourself too seriously.
CNN reports on a study by Kristofor McCarty, a researcher at Northumbria University, and author of a new study presented at the British Psychological Society Annual Conference, that women rate funny guys as more intelligent than guys who are not so funny.
So true. How many movies have you seen with an average-looking guy with a gorgeous girlfriend? Too many to count, and that’s because humor tends to also show that you have a positive outlook on life which translates to you being able to deal with problems and life issues. We women love this.
So, what’s the lesson here? Be funny. If the thought of trying to make someone laugh makes you break out in hives, just get a copy of The Onion and start Memorizing. Pronto. Or you could just try to see the humor and lighter side of things when approaching a girl you like.
One of the funniest things my boyfriend and I do is recite lines from the genius movie, “Office Space.“ I can be having the worst day ever, but he’ll say that one line, “It’s a Jump to Conclusions Mat!” Then I double over in laughter, forgetting about my annoyances for the day.
Damn it feels good to be a gangsta.

hahaha.. very cool.. yes you are right most of the girls love guys with awesome sense of humors since funny man knows how to handle themselves especially on approaching girls. There are ways that every girl wanted them to be approached.

true to some extent, but funny how womens magazines have interviews with zach efron and brad pitt and not bill bailey or woody allen. perhaps something men tell themselves to amek themselves feel better. also faintly sexist, supporting the idea that women are to be looked at and men to be listened to. i know which one id pick to take home between the guy with a six pack and the one cracking jokes
