The 2009 Masters golf tournament starts today and if you ask me it couldn’t have come at a better time — March Madness is now over and the Baseball season is still picking up speed. So for those of you looking for some added excitement — and yes, golf can be very exciting — the Masters brings forth the perfect solution. Will Tiger win his fifth green jacket despite his recent knee surgery? Or perhaps will an underdog like Phil Mickelson or some other unknown take the weekend prize? We here at Manolith will be sure to keep you up to date.

To start, the coverage. ESPN has exclusive coverage for the first two rounds which you can catch between 4:00pm and 7:30pm ET. And then you will be able to catch the second two days of coverage on CBS. But for those who want to keep in the loop, there are a few other options. For those of you with an iPhone, there is the Masters iPhone application which will supply you with a live leaderboard, live video streaming of select holes, highlights, a nifty course map and other helpful extras. The Masters official website also has streaming video and other goodies.

The tournament is just getting started, but as of now the leader Shingo Katayama. Let’s see if it lasts.

The interest increase is actually an exponential function that, given enough time and a constant value that is rolled over, will consume the entire value of the issue. ,
