Check out this video of this 1972 Custom Datsun. Not a big deal, you might think. It’s just a 1972 Datsun not unlike the one infront of your uncles house up on blocks. But this one is different: up until last year it was the world’s fastest electric car, going 0 to 60 mph in 2.95 seconds.
And let me restate: it’s electric. It’s called the White Zombie (clearly a fan of the band) by its owner, and the best line of the clip comes in when this redneck dude becomes amazed at the White Zombies electric motor, saying “where I’m from, louder means power”. He looks flummoxed. Check it out!
