I Feel Relatively Neutral About New York… Shirt

I’ve never been a huge fan of “punny” t-shirts, but this one is definitely worth posting about.

Just ok with Brooklyn? Not a huge fan of the pizza there? Never really liked the movie Ghostbusters? Couldn’t give a toss about hot dog vendors on the street? Impartial to Gershwin? Well, try this shirt. It says everything you want the world to know: that you went to the greatest city on the planet and went “it’s just ok”.

This shirt says what every Other City dweller is thinking. Sure, New York is pretty great. But it’s also pretty shitty. Some of us live in other awesome cities and just kind of dig it there, you know? We don’t need to know where all the good bars are in Brooklyn, or where the best cupcake place is in the village. We’re sick and tired of reading those lists just because Conde Nast is based there. It’s just not fair to the rest of us.

The Abe Lincoln pillow at this Etsy store is pretty great, too. The actual company is based out of San Francisco, too, which explains a lot about the hating on loving New York.
