George St. Pierre is one of many things. He is the “Lebron James” of UFC. He is a real life version of that dude from Bloodsport. He is the lyrics to “Theme From Shaft”. He is a bad ass mother shut your mouth. It is true.
And he just gave the fight of his life at UFC 94.
He’s the current UFC lightweight champion, and this guy has a pretty storied life.
He learned fighting after getting picked on by a school bully at age 7. Now, see what he did there? What most of us did was either become a bully at that point or cry into our empty Ho-Ho packet, wiping our tears away with sheets of ham, as we ate our feelings. But George? He started training at age seven and quickly became a total crazy awesome fighter. The best part of his Wikipedia entry is where it documents the jobs he had while training: a bouncer (because what are you going to do when you’re that ripped? Macrame?), and for 6 months he was a garbageman. Can you imagine? Did you separate the plastic from the bottles? No? BAM. Right in the face.
So now you know just a tad more about George. I suggest you look him up if you’re ever in a bar right in Quebec. I’m pretty sure that dude is like thirty times more effective than Jean Claude Van Damme.

JCVD is unstoppable. George St. Pierre – while great – simply has nothing on the might of JCVD.
