He finally got what he wanted, quarterback Jay Cutler was traded to the Bears earlier today for two first-round picks, a third-round pick, and quarterback Kyle Orton. He had been complaining about not wanting to play for Broncos new head coach Josh McDaniels, after Mcdaniels tried to recruit Patriots quarterback Matt Cassel.

Chicago Bears fans are pretty happy about getting a new Pro Bowl quarterback in Jay Cutler and glad they didn’t have to give too much up to get him. The Broncos organization had tried working with Cutler, but no response for past 11 days gave them the green light to get rid of him.

It’ll be interesting to see these two teams face off in the regular season. Whenever a player demands to be traded and then returns to that team after the trade, there’s always good drama. Makes for amazing football.
