Worn Free.

Worn Free is a novel idea for a company that takes your favorite rock stars clothes and makes (vaguely) affordable high quality knock-offs.

You can dress like John Lennon or Kurt Cobain if you want, or Joey Ramone or Frank Zappa. Or get your girlfriend to dress up as Debbie Harry (note: THAT IS A BRILLIANT IDEA). Whatever you damn well feel like. It saves you the trouble of shilling over $10,000 on a shirt such as John Lennon’s iconic “You Are Here” shirt. Why, Worn Free has a knock-off for thirty bucks! Yeah, I know! Great, right?

Most shirts are priced at $49.95 which might be more than you’d want to pay for a t-shirt (especially Kurt Cobain’s super simple “Grunge Is Dead” shirt which was available at Hot Topic’s up until 2000 for less than $20), but the cooler clothes designate a higher pricetag. After all, you don’t want to roll up to a party looking like you just got ambushed by the Salvation Army.

One could make an argument about “developing your own style and not ripping off others” but after reviewing the site, they’ve picked out some great shirts to reproduce. And after all, this is infinitely better than hopping on eBay and buying a cheap knockoff: these things are genuinely legit.

You too can dress like this man. For a price. Oh yes. It always costs something.
