It’s called “Carnival Hammer”. This might be the silliest iPhone app ever.
Remember at the carnival where you swung the hammer and you rang the bell sort of thing? Remember that? Does that thing really have a name? Well… there is now an iPhone app for that. The beauty of it being that its surprisingly realistic and surprisingly hard to hit the bell at the top.
Essentially: you’ll be hurling your iPhone towards the ground. Now, imagine you’ve been playing the game for a few minutes and your hands are starting to get sweaty and the phone slips and you’ve basically slammed the phone into the ground. At high speed. Because you were trying to make an imaginary thingy go hit an imaginary bell. And who were you trying to impress? Yourself? Your girl? Does your girl get impressed by things like that? You may want to rethink your relationship.
What’s great is that this is a very addictive game. You’ll be surprised at how fun it is… this might be one of those dumb ass iPhone apps you thought you’d never bring out to show people how much better the iPhone is than their phone, but you’d be suprised. Just don’t let them throw it on the floor.

This is a lot like the early strapless Wii remotes which players would unwittingly throw through their TV screens. Just asking for trouble
