Kanye West, the uber Producer/Performer started off in a small, dingy apartment in Chicago making beats for local acts before making his way up to making songs for hip-hop legend, Jay-Z among numerous others. And once his own artistic voice was realized with the release of “The College Dropout,” West received accolades from fans and music critics alike for his raps that didn’t go into gangsta territory. Instead, he rapped about working minimum wage jobs, wanting to be rich, and his struggle with God in the unexpected hit, “Jesus Walks.”
Most recently, he has become larger than life with hits from “Stronger,” and most recently with “Heartbreak hotel.” He’s a regular at Fashion Week, and is known for his style, fashion choices and his larger than life ego. Granted, he’s a very talented artist, but he does have a past of expressing himself without censorship . Past incidents include his anger at not winning an MTV Award, his declaration that “George Bush Does Not Like Black People”, and most recently, when he tells Complex mag that his role in these tough times is to “entertain people” and do the “crazy, bold stuff so [the public] can live through me and get their mind off the recession.”
This includes changing his name to Martin Louis the King Jr. after Martin Luther King Jr. and Louis Vuitton, (his favorite fashion brand) and demanded “everyone address me as such.”
Kanye, we love your music. But please just stick to that. Holla.

Looks like a mix of Martin Luther King Jr., Louis Vuitton, and King Louis (which I think he's praised before).

Kanye will be Kanye. He's always coming out with something new and different, really setting him apart from the competition.

hey Nicole, Brian, and Gary, thanks for leaving a comment. Yeah, I love Kanye especially "Family Business" and "Everything I Am." Just not so crazy about the ego, but the man has talent. I still think "Stronger" is one of the hottest tracks I've heard in a very long time.
