The 33 year-old actor, Andy Hallet, passed away Sunday night, after fighting heart disease for the last 5 years. Hallet starred on the WB’s “Angel,” the spinoff from “Buffy the Vampire Slayer.” Lately, he had been really into his music, and even recorded a few tracks the Angel Soundtrack.
Hallet passed away at Cedars Sinai hospital in Beverly Hills with is dad right beside him. According to Brady, Hallet had been checking himself into the hospitals a few times this year due to his heart condition.
Hallet was a member of the “Angel” cast from 2000-2004, appearing in more than 70 episodes in the 4-year span.

I’m totally distraught that he has died. He was such a brilliant actor and one Lorne was one of my favourite characters. This is really sad news.

r.i.p andy im gonna miss u. ive never listened to lady marmalade the same way since. xxxx
I’ve just read the articles about Andy Hallet (a.k.a Lorne)and I am very saddened to hear that he passed away last 2 years ago. I had no idea that he had died and right now I’m stunned and very numb at the fact that he is really gone. I’m still watching episodes of “Angel” on TNT and Lorne is my favorite character. I love Lorne for his voice, his kindness, generocity, love and devotion, but most of all his heart for having so much love for his friends. I will miss Andy (a.k.a Lorne) so much and I will never forget who he was or what he looked like on “Angel.” I love everything about Andy when he played Lorne and I will always keep him in my heart now and forever.
Rest In Peace, Andy (a.k.a Lorne) and may God grace you with open arms and may you sing your heart out in his holy choir. GOD BLESS YOU ANDY (a.k.a Lorne) and see you when the time comes.
