There have been better days for Willie Aames. Former teen heart-throb and star of shows such as Charles in Charge and Eight Is Enough, Aames was forced to file for bankruptcy last year. And now is home is being foreclosed on. But he’s not going down without a fight. He’s having a garage sale! And what a garage sale it is.
To give you a little taste, here’s a small list: movie memorabilia, artwork, a piano, a TV set, a mounted lion’s head (that he hunted), stuffed wild boar (that he also hunted), and centuries old butcher’s chopping block that he let buyer’s know he had used to change his kids on – and you wonder why he’s going bankrupt.
Looking back, Aames’ has had an interesting life. After his years as a TV star he picked up a cocaine addiction, which left him broke and in rehab. Years later he finally dropped the habit and became a devoted Christian. Since then he has worked as the Christian costumed-hero Bibleman, performing at different schools and churches. And now this.
