Wii Sports 2

There’s a few screenshots of the new Wii Sports (now the fastest selling videogame of all time, dontcha know) floating around the web. It appears that they’re going for a “resort” theme, allowing you to do awesome shit like riding on a jet ski. Will you be able to outrun Mii Cocaine Traffic Cops? The mind reels. The only screenshots available are of the jet skiing, and one more game, but we’ll get to that.

But so far the only two other games names that have been released are (wait for it…): Dog Frisbee, and Sword Play. Wtf? Dog Frisbee? C’mon Nintendo. It’s sad enough that for the last 6 months I’ve been pretending that I’ve been doing the hula hoop alone in my room thanks to Wii Fit but now you’re just going to rub in the fact that I don’t even have a dog I can throw a Frisbee with? Why don’t you just give me a bottle of bourbon and a Tom Waits album while you’re at it? Is there a game called “listening to The Eagles and calling an ex at 4am”? Is there? No.

There’s supposed to be “at least ten more games” according to a Nintendo spokesperson so hopefully they’ll include games like Being Witty At Parties or something. Anything but ‘Dog Frisbee’.
