Reebok are re-releasing replicas of their legendary Commitment high top sneakers. These card carrying badass mother(edited)’s bring back fond memories of 1989 for this here blogger. Reebok’s are a great brand who suffered a bit of a hit to their image in the late 90’s / early 2000’s after some bad releases, but have bounced back to the top after aligning themselves with street icons like Missy Elliot, Dizzee Rascal and Jay-Z amongst others. After realizing that their best shoes were always the ones that people reflected back to, they’ve gone ahead and brought these back and I couldn’t be happier. I used to see a lot of these as a kid in London in the early 90’s… they really are pretty bad ass.
They appear in the black and white model pictured and the iconic red white and blue model. You will be sure to find every cool person on the planet wearing these. They truly are the coolest of the cool; an original pair just sold in Chicago for $400.
