2009 NFL Schedule Revealed

Big news from the NFL today: both the 2009 Kickoff Weekend and the Thanksgiving Day schedules have been announced. And after a quick look through, I have to say, the schedule looks exciting. Starting the season off will be the reigning champs, the Pittsburgh Steelers, taking on the Tennessee Titans. The game will take place in Pittsburgh on Thursday, September 10th and will be shown on NBC. I have the rest of the schedule is posted below (home team listed first):


Green Bay Packers vs. Chicago Bears
Sunday, September 13th @ 8:30 p.m. ET (NBC)

New England Patriots vs. Buffalo Bills
Monday, September 14th @ 7:00 p.m. ET (ESPN)

Oakland Raiders vs. San Diego Chargers
Monday, September 14th @ 10:15 p.m. ET (ESPN)

Thanksgiving Day Schedule

Detroit Lions vs. Green Bay Packers
Thursday, November 26th @ 12:30 p.m. ET (FOX)

Dallas Cowboys vs. Oakland Raiders
Thursday, November 26th @ 4:15 p.m. ET (CBS)

Denver Broncos vs. New York Giants
Thursday, November 26th @ 8:20 p.m. ET (NFL Network)

The rest of the schedule will be announced sometime in April.

    that Green Bay vs. Chicago game should be great! Can't wait for the new season to start.
