Hitting theaters today, “I Love You Man” looks to be this weekends biggest box office hit. What could be the “Bromantic” comedy of the year starring Paul Rudd and Jason Segal, “I Love You Man” is about a soon to be married bachelor looking for his perfect best man.

Judd Apatow, the comedic genius behind similar movies such as “SuperBad” and “40 Year-Old Virgin” wasn’t the mastermind behind “I Love You Man.” Credit for this one goes to John Hamburg, the director of “Along Came Polly” and writer for many other Ben Stiller flicks.

Here are few reviews for “I Love You Man”:

Peter Travers
, Rolling Stone- “In a down market for giggles (Miss March? Please!), Paul Rudd and Jason Segel are howlingly funny. They have skills.”

Elizabeth Weitzman
, New York Daily News- “Writer/director John Hamburg smartly tweaks Hollywood formulas while following them to the letter, and it’s the way everybody plays things perfectly straight (so to speak) that makes ILYM so much fun.”

Claudia Puig
, USA Today- “I Love You, Man’s light-hearted exploration of male bonding provides substantial fodder for humor, heightened by the inspired casting of two of the industry’s most appealing comic actors.”

NOTE: The original term “I Love You Man” gained popularity in 1995 after Bud Light trademarked it, in this award winning commercial:

In order to appreciate this movie, you gotta acknowledge its roots.

Yeah, these to guys are hilarious. I just wish Jonah Hill was in this. He's by far the funniest out of all of them!
