You’ve probably heard that ubiquitious song somewhere, maybe on the radio, at your friend’s party, or maybe at Best Buy while you’re trying to figure out which gadget you should get.
Well, this party boy who wants to be back in college has an offical hit with his song, “I Love College,” where he reminisces about $1 pizza slices, naked gals, being a champion at beer pong, and being able to do whatever he wanted all day and night.
From Morrisville, PA, he used social networking sites such as MySpace and Facebook to develop his fanbase and released mixtapes including “Believe the Hype,” and “The Greenhouse Effect Mixtape.” Soon after he caught the eye of Scooter Braun and Steve Rifkind who signed him to SRC/Universal Records.
The guy is college-educated and not from the streets, so obviously his raps would reflect that. Also, considering the crappy Economic news all around us, Roth’s song has a laid-back sense of nostalgia around it which makes us want to go back to the times when life was simpler, we had a bit more dough in our bank accounts, and oh yeah, the time when you could still call your parents for some cash. Because you know, you were in college.

Yeah... I'm not his biggest fan, but the melody of the song is pretty good... simpler times. Thanks for commenting, Joe.
