Today Apple unveils there much anticipated iPhone 3.0 Update for iPhone users. The long awaited update will include cool new features like combining your contact list across social media platforms such as Facebook or Gmail and putting them into one general address book. The copy and paste function is also an important new feature to iPhone users complained about during the 2.0 release.
Some iPhone users believe that Apple did miss out on a few features during the 3.0 update. Turning the camera into a camcorder and sending picture messages, were a couple of big complaints by iPhone users voiced before the release of 3.0. I’ve heard of a few applications that can turn the iPhone into a camcorder, but I’m not sure how effective they are.
With over 15,000 apps already accessible to the iPhone 3G, it will interesting to see how much of an impact this new update will make for users. We’ll see if Apple can stay on top of there game and outdo the competition they created.

cut and paste sounds nice, but yeah better picture messaging would have been good too. still it’s exciting to own a product that progressively gets better as time goes on.
guess i just have to wait for apple’s iphone 4.0 update!
Nice to see the new features. But disappointed that flash is still not available. Let’s hope that apple and adobe can come to an agreement. This alone will make the iphone a trully superior mobile platform.
Pic text was actually mentioned in the sneak peak of the software update. Also iPhone now has the ability to send and recieve audio files. So it pretty much has full function just like any other phone.
