Ouch…Who would’ve thought this former Billionaire would end up in jail over a Ponzi Scheme? I mean this dude is 70 so its not like he didn’t live life to the fullest, but still, how do you go from vacations in the South of France to recreation time in the south yard. He’ll definitely have to get used to it I’m sure.
What I don’t understand is how they give him 150 years in prison. That just never made any sense to me. It’s not like he’s living until (in my head: whats 150+70?)…220, I mean he probably has the money, but that’s just impossible.
You know, this story reminds me of that movie with Eddie Murphy and Dan Akroyd “Trading Places.” I wish they could do a reality show about this man’s transition from Wall Street to San Quintin. It’ll be like MTV’s current reality show about Rapper TI and his “Road to Redemption.” No but honestly, I see this guy getting pardoned in about a years time, right after the economy picks up. He has too many friends in high places, trust me.
