Prince Charles – or “British dude with the ears” as my old landlord used to call him – has been voted World’s Best Dressed Man by Esquire UK. Runners up included Andre 3000 from Outkast (WHERES THE NEW ALBUM???), Barack Obama in 4th place (WHERES THE NEW… oh wait), and camera-shy British comedian Ronnie Corbett.
If you ask me Esquire UK is clearly going for the older person variety of style. Which isn’t necessarily a bad thing: a well tailored suit makes all the difference. But there’s leagues of people I can think of that can pull of something a little better.
But still, Prince Charles is said to have an entire room set out like a professional tailors shop so he can have the right bespoke suit. And we at Manolith will admit: after a five minute “THEYRE PICKING PRINCE CHARLES?” moment and a seven minute Google Image search, we have to say, dude knows how to dress. It ain’t too much and it ain’t too little. He’s hardly David Lee Roth and that’s the point. Although we still think he dresses not unlike ex-Bond Roger Moore.

This is my favorite kind of style – classic & iconic. Props to Prince Charles, he’s got my vote.
