Chimp Attack 911 Call: ‘He’s ripping her apart’
In a frantic 911 call uploaded to Youtube, a Connecticut woman pleads for police to “please hurry” to save a friend from an attack by her pet chimpanzee. When you first hear this, you’ll think its hilarious. But when the woman tells 911 operators the primate had “ripped her face off” it gets ugly real quick. If your like me, your laughter turns to inner anguish as you realize your laughing at the tragedy of another person–a real person who just had 4 teams of surgeons operate on her.
But then again, the monkey in the second video below wasn’t good press for primates.
Update: Stamford police are looking into the possibility of criminal charges. The owner of the chimpanzee gave it Xanax earlier in the day to calm him down, and this, according to University of Chicago’s chief psychiatrist Dr. Emil Coccaro, could have made him worse.

i was just being honest, it was an honest reaction to the call. It is horrific for sure, which I state, but hey, you’re entitled to your opinion
