If you’ve ever been to Hollywood chances are at least once you’ve walked up and down Hollywood Blvd and been acosted by one of the gigantic costumed weirdo’s that dress up like any given character of any given popular movie.
This documentary might not be everyone’s cup of tea (or mug of Red Bull if you’re to believe what some of these people have for breakfast), but it’s Manolithable because, well, it just goes to show you if you put your mind to something, you can be anything you want.
If you’re stuck there in your office right now reading this you probably wondered just what it would be like to give it all up and start anew. How easy, I guess, it would be to be or do something else with your life. This is a great little documentary about people who – for better or for worse – gave it up to at least in their own way pursue fame and fortune. And along with the way dressing up like Spongebob Squarepants. But I digress.
If anything, it’ll make you reconsider that acting career. But if you want a good look into the can-do spirit that I’d wager that America was built on – this is a good place to start. Happy watching!
