It’s official. Brett Favre of the New York Jets has decided to hang up his cleats for good. Following in the steps of Michael Jordan, Brett Favre came out of retirement last year to try and one last Super Bowl with the New York Jets. When that didn’t work out, he decided that enough is enough and annouced his retirement through his agent early this morning.
Many question why Brett Favre would leave the Green Bay Packers after 16 seasons to come back and play with the Jets. When asked, Brett Favre had no regrets and believed it was the best move at the time. What looked like a promising for the Jet’s, ended up being a disappoint, after barley missing the playoffs.
With two Super Bowl rings and one of the most accomplished NFL careers to date, Brett Favre may go down as the best quarterback to ever play the game.

Hey...I wouldn't be shocked if in May or June, ESPN started reporting secret meeting between #4 and the Vikings. With a solid QB, Minny is a top 5 NFL squad. Also, there's a lot of hate out there for Brett right now. http://hateonme.com
