My family and Ifeel the current ad regarding Castrol Edge (The Dipstick commercial) to be one that should not be on TV - with all the violence going on in the world do we need one more reminder of people hurting one another (in this case being slapped by a dipstick). There could have been other ways to show that commercial without the man with tam hitting another man across the buttocks with a dipstick.

That Castrol Edge Oil commercial, where that loud mouth, bearded scotman,is going around hitting people with a dipstick is disgusting. What makes you think that buy hitting people, is going to make us buy your product. That commercial is not funny. To me it doesn't get the point across. Why would I buy that product? Maybe you should show a person holding a dipstick and saying,"Don't be one of these" or "You"ll be one of these{holding a dipstick in hand}if you don't try the new Castrol Edge Motor Oil." All that shouting and hitting is a turnoff.

I love this commercial. I still have not quit laughing. I really don't like violence but this really looked more like a prank.
