How about you get off your judgemental high horse, and realise that comments like the ones you have made can lead to eating disorders. I mean, could you sound any more like an idiot?
She hasn’t even gained alot of weight, personally I think she looks better than before. She definitely still looks hot. And that isn’t despite the weight gain, that’s because of it.

Magazines, newspapers, and TV, have made billions of dollars by gathering photos and information based on the personal details of celebrity life. It’s a huge money making crop. Sometimes celebrities share in the profit just by getting publicity. Simpson has gotten a great deal of publicity which could lead to an empathetic audence. Regardless, celebrities should have laws to protect their privacy. Imagine that someone publishes something embarrassing about you, it runs your job, humiliates you, and all while this is happening, someone is making millions off of you. If you are famous you should have, at the least, a really great lawyer.

Claire78 you should be embarrassed to be making comments not only in respect to the subject at hand, “a celebs wieght gain!!” But then to put down all woman on this post that are commenting about it, by saying that we are all overweight!! You have some nerve! This is not a matter of who’s overweight and who’s not, its a matter of someone being smeared by the public eye, with no regard to human compassion or their personal feelings. Based on your comments about this topic, you seem to rally toward the lowest form of human behavior.
Technically Jessica Simpson isn’t anorexic, and that my dear Claire is the role model that she should be for all young woman!!

Anyone that cannot see from looking at this girls face and body that she is over her natural weight is not thinking clearly. Her BMI is overlimit that is fact. Its not about being thin or fat, she is overweight for her frame and height clearly. In my experience (considerable) a lot of people lose clarity on this point especially when they are overweight themselves or are surrounded by overweight people. Anyone of a normal weight can clearly see that Jessica looks slightly puffy – Not obese or anything of the sort but most definately out of her normal weight region for her height and frame. Sadly a lot of people make weight an emotional issue, and especially on forums such as this a personal issue. The facts remain. Technically Jessica Simpson is overweight.
