Over the weekend, some very disturbing photos of Jessica Simpson surfaced. Let’s first start with the obvious. She’s gained some weight and by some I mean a lot.
I don’t wanna sound like a jerk, but when part of your job description is being hot, YOU NEED TO BE HOT! How could she let this happen? Where is the girl from the “These Boots Are Made For Walking” video?
Second, what the hell was she wearing? Those mom jeans should be outlawed. There is no excuse to ever wear those, unless you’re trying to bring attention to your recent weight gain. Also, wearing two leopard print belts over your belly isn’t hiding anything, it just brings more attention to your recent weight gain!
The saddest part of all of this is that she was performing at a chili cook-off sponsored by a country radio station down in Florida. Insert your own Did she eat all the chili? joke here.

Jessica Simpson doesn’t owe it to you or any of your slobbery manfolk to be your idealization of a woman. Regardless of her star status and how hot you think she “was” or should be, she doesn’t owe you a thing, and it’s disgusting for you to publicly comment about something that is so obviously none of your business.
Weight Gain? Is the author of this article on crack? This type of news sickenns me, why is this even news? These dumb celebrity media idiots need to get a real job.

Jessica Simpson is still hot. Just because she has put on a few “I’m in Love” pounds and may have worn an outfit that didn’t flatter her figure doesn’t mean she should be slaughtered the way she has. Sure am glad I don’t have my picture plastered all over when I’ve gained a pound or two.

i agree with the author, she chubbed out. and she won’t make it in the singing business along on her supposed “singing”. So, she needs to look hot, cause what else does she have to make her money? it’s definitely not the fact that she can sing, because we all know that’s a lie.
If she didn’t want to be judged as a sex object then maybe she shouldn’t have put herself out there as one. When you make videos like “These boots were made for walking”, you are asking to be judged a certain way, she is the one who put the focus on her body and not her singing talents. She is getting what she deserves.

size healthy is size beautiful. it makes me sick and i feel it. i am trying to break into modeling and it scares me. I am a size 7 with a small waist. which varies from 29 to 31. many places won’t even look at you till you are 28 in or smaller. hell i got really sick for a couple of days and i lost an inch around my waist, and i was happy. It is constant struggle to be happy with our bodies and things like this DO NOT help. For the record my hip bone is a size 5 without flesh, so if i was a 2 i would be dead. Marylin monroe was a size 11. and if you don’t think she was skinny you need to google her picture.

If i started gaining weight and it didnt look good on me id have faith in my friends and family to tell me so.
For me the matter isnt Jessica gaining weight its the matter of she doesnt look good,i think Jessica would respect the fact people are being honest with her.

I’m not even a fan of this girl, but I will admit that she has a fine pair of lungs on her and that she is a very good looking girl, weight gain or no. Consider for a moment that this might not be the most flattering outfit she has ever worn (a bad call, yes) and whilst, as you put it, part of her job description is to look hot – she was not put here merely for your pleasure and deserves some down time. Her right to have a life, put on a little weight and do what she bloody well likes still takes precedence. Give her a break, for Christ’s sake!

Anyone that cannot see from looking at this girls face and body that she is over her natural weight is not thinking clearly. Her BMI is overlimit that is fact. Its not about being thin or fat, she is overweight for her frame and height clearly. In my experience (considerable) a lot of people lose clarity on this point especially when they are overweight themselves or are surrounded by overweight people. Anyone of a normal weight can clearly see that Jessica looks slightly puffy – Not obese or anything of the sort but most definately out of her normal weight region for her height and frame. Sadly a lot of people make weight an emotional issue, and especially on forums such as this a personal issue. The facts remain. Technically Jessica Simpson is overweight.
Claire78 you should be embarrassed to be making comments not only in respect to the subject at hand, “a celebs wieght gain!!” But then to put down all woman on this post that are commenting about it, by saying that we are all overweight!! Magazines, newspapers, and TV, have made billions of dollars by gathering photos and information based on the personal details of celebrity life. It’s a huge money making crop. Sometimes celebrities share in the profit just by getting publicity. Simpson has gotten a great deal of publicity which could lead to an empathetic audence. Regardless, celebrities should have laws to protect their privacy. Imagine that someone publishes something embarrassing about you, it runs your job, humiliates you, and all while this is happening, someone is making millions off of you. If you are famous you should have, at the least, a really great lawyer.
