Inauguration Speech

krtphotoslive339328-us-news-inaugur-obama-inauguration-speech_1One of the most eloquent public speakers of his time, President-elect Barack Obama has been able to effectively communicate his message of hope to the American people throughout his political career. Yes We Can, those three words have carried Obama from community organizer to President of the Harvard Law Review to Senator of Illinois and finally the President of the United States of America.

During his speech at the opening of the We Are One Concert Event in Washington DC, Obama continued on with his message of hope,

“I stand here today as hopeful as ever that the United States of America will endure, that it will prevail, that the dream of our founders will live on in our time.”

National polls have shown that majority of American’s are standing by Obama and his belief that the power to progress this country lies within the people.

“…What gives me the greatest hope of all is not the stone and marble that surrounds us today, but what fills the spaces in between. It is you — Americans of every race and region and station who came here because you believe in what this country can be and because you want to help us get there.”

Only time will tell if Obama can bring America out of one of the worst economic conditions and meaningless wars of all time.

However, one certainty President Obama will be able count on is the faith of the American people.
