As the United States auto industry continues to plummet and predictions of rising gas prices continues to grow, car lovers may have one bright spot left: The North American International Auto Show. Motor City will be hosting the nation’s largest and most popular auto show from January 11 to the 25th. The world’s most futuristic concept cars and special edition classics will be on display as automakers from around the world including, Mercedes, Aston Martin, Lamborghini and Bugatti will be exhibiting their fleet.
Although currently recovering from arguably one of the worst years ever for American automakers, fans and car lovers alike are eager to see what they have to offer.
In previous years, US automakers including Chevrolet and Ford have amazed their audiences by showcasing futuristic vehicles appearing in blockbuster movies such as Transformers and Knight Rider. Not to be outdone, foreign automakers including Lamborghini and Aston Martin showcase their sleek new sport cars, which have been featured in James Bond’s Quantum of Solace and Batman’s Batmobile as seen in “The Dark Knight.”
