OH MY GOD. Somebody got Tron on my Olivia Wilde! Somebody got Olivia Wilde on my Tron! In some meeting of The Fates, it was reported in Variety that Olivia Wilde, the babe from House M.D and also the girl that made out with Mischa Barton on The OC, has been cast in the 26-year old sequel to Disney’s 1982 hit Tron. What are they going to call it? Tron 2: Son Of Tron? The Tronckening? The mind reels.
This is a better pairing than peanut butter and jelly, or even this bloggers brilliant combination of NyQuil and DayQuil the other day. Olivia Wilde is the insanely hot actress from such pop-culture nerd shows as House and The OC and here she is with a major part in a sequel to Tron (ask any dude who wears glasses and they will tell you they have seen Tron more times than they’ve had hot dinners).
This is great news.
No plot details as of yet but the thought of Olivia Wilde in a LED jumpsuit means that we won’t really have to worry about things like “plot”. Of course Manolith will have the next update as soon as we find out. Things like this are the reason we get out of bed in the morning.
