Ken Block is one gnarly dude.
Nowadays, DC Shoes are as ubiquitous with skateboarding culture as birthday cake is with fat kids. But is was only back in 1993 was it just Ken Block and Danny Way peddling their screenprinted t-shirts in (at that time) sleepy San Diego. Not only that, but Ken also does crazy insane car stunts. So not only is he a multi millionaire, but he also does insane car driving.
He’s like the Bro Bill Gates.
You may be wondering: how badass can one person be? Well, its about time we explored.
As you can see, Ken is not kidding around that’s him jumping 171 feet in a Subaru.
This is him snow-wakeboarding. Yeah. That’s right. Driving down a mountain like it ain’t no thing, getting his friends on the snowboards to do mad jumps.
And this is him Tokyo drifting everywhere. You don’t just Tokyo drift everywhere. But this guy? He does it. And he does it epically. Just look:
Ken is so badass that he participates in the illegal coast-to-coast high speed competition, the Gumball 3000. So he is a millionaire outlaw who can drive like Steve McQueen in Bullitt. I guess it looks like none of us guys will be able to hold a candle to the awesomeness.
Check out the DC site for updates, they’ve always got something gnarly up their sleeve. I guess Ken might just be living the old adage to its fullest… go big, or go home!
