People are more likely to deal with torn ligaments when dealing with contact sports, simply because all of the contact leads to different possibilities as far as tearing is concerned. These sports injuries will differ. People who are into more physical sports, such as gymnastics or basketball, have the possibility of both. Some actions may easily sprain ligaments, while others could easily tear them. What is important to note, however, is that these injuries can happen to anyone, and from nearly every position or move.
