There are many reasons that a person would need to have condoms and even more that a parent would. This is because it not only has to do with the parent having the means to protect from having more children then they might want but also because they will want to be a good example of safe sexual practices and have condoms to be able to give their children once their children are of age, are in need or once they explain these practices to their children.
Children who have the proper education when it comes to reasons to use a condom and how they should use a condom are much more likely to practice safe sex and to have safe sexual habits. Some of these things that may need to be explained from a mother or father to their child when they are old enough may need a way to show them. Some parents find that it is a good idea to literally show their child how to put a condom on by use of a cucumber or a banana.
You should also teach your children about cleaning themselves after sex and about how to practice safe sexual habits in relation to this. All of this starts with being able to have access to condoms and making sure that your children once they are ready also have that access and are able to be as safe as possible. You may also want to have different sizes or types and have a father or mother explain these different sizes or types to the child.
There are more reasons than just having a child already for a parent or parents to have condoms. One of the reasons is being able to chose when you want to have your next child if you want to have another. Choice is everything when it comes to sex and condoms are able to provide a great deal of choice. You have the choice whether you would like to have another child at the time or wait, you have the choice what type of condoms to use and you have all the rest of the safe sex choices.
For both parents and children knowledge of safe sex choices and having those choices is important. Many children do not even end up having the proper knowledge of the risks such as sexually transmitted diseases that condoms safe guard against. There are even some teenagers who do not know that condoms are to safe guard against pregnancy and sexually transmitted disease rather then just one or the other.
In order for your children to have a larger amount of knowledge they need for you to also have these knowledge. This also goes for condoms and sex. They need to have the correct knowledge to be able to assist them in making smart decisions. Having condoms in your home when you are a parents serves in a positive way for your own safety and the safety of the people who you love.
