In 1999 Budweiser unveiled one of its many interesting and viral marketing campaigns and changed the communications world at the same time. What the heck am I talking about? The Budweiser commercial featuring a group of guys who greet each other with “wassup” (or a dozen variations thereof). The phrase spread like wildfire and has been used ever since in Internet chat rooms, instant messanger services and even e-mail (not to mention real conversations as well). Now, eight years later, the same actors who performed in the orignal commercial have reunited for a new commercial. This one isn’t promoting beer however. Although it has a serious message, this video is funny as heck. As you will see in the video below, it’s all about change…
