The $100K Dust Bunny … er … Beamer

By Sean Percival on October 31st, 2008

The BMW M6 is a world-class, high performance, well-respected vehicle the world over, right?  Well, in most cases that is correct.  However, for one lonely BMW located in Dubai, India, the only thing that can be said for the owner is “where the heck is this guy?”  Does this guy (or gal?) not remember how much this car cost him?  It is hard to imagine, but here sits (apparently for months) a high-end sports car that retails for $100K – looking like the classic song, “Dust in the Wind”.  Check out these heiroglyphics left in the sands of time (ouch – I can hear the scratches embedded by the sand in the paint job now!).

Is the owner dead? (my thoughts exactly!)

Please sell me? Please wash me?

Can you believe this!  Notice the cat prints?  Someone call the dealer…

And the mystery hieroglyphs … translation anyone?

Hat tip to Vinay over at Madwhips.com for the pics!

Given that it's Dubai, United Arab Emirates and NOT India, I'd imagine whoever owns this car wouldn't have to worry about anyone stealing it given the punishment for theft in UAE. Perhaps the owner is overseas and regards it as we would a used Ford truck.
