iPod MP3 Players

Music has been transportable since the days of the boom box when people would walk around with large clunky boxes that blared music. Designs of carrying music on the go turned into portable radios and CD players. Then the file sharing programs started spreading like wildfire with ways to play the downloaded MP3s popping up everywhere. In 2001, the company Apple released the iPod. It was revolutionary for it’s time as a relatively small pocket sized MP3 player that was easy to use.

The models that came after the original changed the way people play music. The sizes of the iPod varied from a miniature iPod Shuffle to the standard iPod to even an iPod Touch where users could not only play music but also play games and browse the Internet. With the exception of iPod Touch, every iPod has a selection of colors that it comes in like bright green or neon pink and the classic white or black. Special editions have come in colors like a deep red or black with gold writing that were designed for charitable causes.

Part of the popularity of the iPod is the simplicity of downloading music onto the iPod as well as using the device. The iPod works directly with iTunes and the iTunes music store where listeners can legally purchase as much music as they’d like as well as videos. The Shuffle is incredibly small and doesn’t have a screen so it can only play music, but other iPod models can play videos as well as store information and pictures. Transferring music and videos from the computer to the iPod is simple. The iPod is connected through a USB wire and notifications and labels will guide anyone through the steps. Labels are clear so first time users and long time listeners find the whole process easy.

Accessories are important when it comes to MP3 players since at the very least headphones are needed. Apple stores and the Apple on-line store sell everything for the iPod ranging from headphones to cases to car chargers. Headphones can be small ones that fit inside the ear to large ones that block out all other sound. Cases can be used for screen protection or scratches against the surface of the iPod. Some cases are different colors so a person can feel like they’ve got a different iPod each day of the week. Car chargers are ideal for people traveling frequently. Most iPods are charged while they’re plugged into the computer.

iPods are excellent MP3 players made by a company that can be trusted. Prices start at $50, a cost in just about everyone’s budget. Warranties are available on any iPod in case of damage. There is also a well-trained tech support staff available in stores and on-line in case there’s a complication with any Apple product. How many other MP3 player companies can provide that kind of service?
