Xbox 360 is a seventh generation game console made shortly after the original Xbox. Made by Microsoft, the Xbox 360 stormed onto the gaming scene ready to take on the competition. Xbox 360 was launched one year before Playstation3 and Wii.
Compatible with all 465 original Xbox games, the 360 is a 3.2 GHz Power PC TRICOR Xenon, with a GPU 500MHz ATI Xenos. The consoles come in 20, 60, and 100 GB HD and have 256 or 512 memory discs available. There are 3 variants to the Xbox 360; The Arcade, the Premium, and the Elite.
The Xbox 360 Arcade: includes a wireless controller, 256 MB memory unit, composite AV cable, HDMI 1.2 output, and 5 Xbox Live Arcade titles
The Xbox 360 Premium: includes all the features of the Xbox 360 Core and includes a hybrid composite and component cable with optional out instead of composite cable.
The Xbox 360 Elite: has a 120 GB Hard drive and has a matte black finish. Early Elite models shipped using the Zephyr motherboard, though newer models now use the Falcon 65nm chipset instead.
The Xbox Elite and Premium have Ethernet cables and headsets, where the Arcade, being the lower priced, does not. Other features often include bundled games.
Microsoft also introduced the Halo 3 Special Edition of the console with a green and gold console, exclusive dashboard theme and downloads. It was these features that differentiated it from the Xbox 360 Premium.
The Xbox 360 is compatible with Zune, and Apple iPod. There are also many accessories, including:

This leaves users with almost 14 GB of free space on the 20GB HDD, 52 GB on the 60 GB HDD, or 107 GB on the 120 GB HDD, to save game files, downloadable content and music, and other media.”
